Privacy policy

The company CinTam (hereinafter, the "Company" or "we") is highly concerned about compliance with the requirements of the privacy legislation applicable in Belgium and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (hereinafter, the "GDPR")

When using our application (hereinafter, the "Application"), when visiting our website (hereinafter, the “Website”), or when contacting us via our contact form on our Website or our general contact address, we will process your personal data as a data controller.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to provide you with information about the processing we may perform on your data. This privacy policy sets out how the Company uses and protects your personal data.

A.      Identification of the data controller

Your data are processed by CinTam, whose registered office is located at Les Bons Villers and registered with the Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0xxx.xxx.xxx.

B.      What personal data do we process and why?

Under the GDPR, “personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identify of that natural person.

We collect your personal data for the purposes described below.

1.       Use of our Application

In order to give you access to our Application and to enable you to use it, we collect and process the following personal data: surname, first name, e-mail address and telephone number. To ensure the security of your account (i.e. to recover your password/ensure that you are not a robot), we may also ask you to give us your date of birth, to collect your answers to specific questions or ask you for your location data.

Such data are processed as part of the performance of the contract entered into with you or your company (acceptance of our general terms and conditions - Article 6.1.b) of the GDPR) and is necessary for the performance of our services. Location data will be processed by the Company only if you consent to such processing (article 6.1.a) of GDPR).

They are stored for the duration of the subscription to our services and for a maximum of three months after the end of our services. They will be deleted at the end of this period. Location data will be deleted every six months.

These data may be communicated to processors who assist us in the organization of our services (hosting our Application, CRM, etc.).

2.       Visit of our Website

When visiting our Website, cookies may be placed on your device, subject to any choices you may have indicated and which you may modify at any time.

We always collect cookies that are technically necessary and for functional purposes since they are necessary for the performance of our services (article 6.1.b) of GDPR), while the use of other cookies is subject to your prior consent (article 6.1.a) of GDPR).

Data collected in this context may be shared with external recipients (such as Google Analytics).

3.       Inquiries via contact form on our Website or our general contact address

When you send us a message via our contact form or our general contact address “info@cintam.com”, we will store and process the following personal data:

-          name;

-          first name;

-          email address;

-          as well as any other information contained in your message.

These data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your message (article 6.1.f) of GDPR).

Your data will be kept for as long as is necessary to respond to your request.

C.      What are your rights as data subjects and how to exercise them? 

As data subject, you have the following rights with respect to personal data we hold about you, subject to applicable legal restriction: 

-          Right of access to your personal data;

-          Right to rectification of incorrect or incomplete personal data;

-          Right to erasure of your personal data;

-          Right to restriction of processing of your personal data;

-          Right to data portability; i.e., the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit those data to another controller;

-          Right to object to all or part of the processing, when legally allowed;

-          Right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making, including profiling within the limits set out by the law;

-          Right to withdraw consent at any time when we process your personal data based on your consent;

-          Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If you wish to exercise any of these rights or if you are not satisfied about how we protect your privacy, you should address your request by email together with a proof of your identity (e.g. a copy of your ID from which you should hide unnecessary information), to “info@cintam.com”. By sending us such proof of your identity, you consent to the processing of data it contains. We will only use such information to verify your identity. We will keep such data only for the time necessary to address your request, after which we will delete them.

Individuals will not be charged for access requests, except if the requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive (e.g. repetitive). In such case, the Company may reserve the right to refuse to act on the request. 

The Company will aim at responding to data subjects’ requests without undue delay and in any event within 1 month of receipt of the request. 

D.      MODIFICATIONS

The Company reserves the right to modify the present privacy policy in order to comply with applicable legislation and the recommendations of competent authorities.
